The SILV School is an accredited institution by the Lombardy Region, in section "A." The association has been active since January 1982 and collaborates with professionals in the fashion industry for the design and management of lessons. All compulsory educational paths are free of charge because they are funded by the Lombardy Region through the DOTE system.
Based on the scientific method of size development and constant technological updates, the Bergamo school allows for optimal preparation in terms of professional skills. The SILV School has air-conditioned facilities and utilises state-of-the-art teaching tools, including tablets, PCs, interactive whiteboards (LIM), computerised sewing machines, and professional overlock machines.

CLOTHING AND HOME TEXTILES OPERATOR - TAILORING - THREE-YEAR COURSE
Daytime attendance
The courses after the third year of middle school aim to provide a qualification in the fashion sector.
The course for Clothing and Home Textiles Operator - Profile: Tailoring enables students to acquire the skills to carry out, at the executive level, with autonomy and limited responsibility, activities related to the production of custom clothing: creation of sketches and patterns, execution of cutting operations, assembly, and packaging of tailoring products and/or adaptation of existing garments.
Recipients
Students who have obtained the final qualification of the first cycle of education (lower secondary school).
Duration
3 years.
Title obtained
At the end of the three-year course and upon passing a final examination, the Professional Qualification Certificate of Clothing and Home Textiles Operator - Profile: Tailoring will be issued, including a description of the acquired skills.
The title is valid, like academic ones, for fulfilling the obligation of education and the right-duty of education and training.
It is a recognised title throughout the national territory, and its correspondence with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) Level III makes it recognisable in the broader context of the European Union.
DIPLOMA OF TECHNICIAN IN CLOTHING AND HOME TEXTILES - FASHION DESIGN AND FASHION EVENTS
IV YEAR
Daytime attendance
The course aims to achieve a level of technical competence (equivalent to Level IV European) in awareness and mastery of the professional area, which can facilitate entry into the world of work with a profile that is intermediate between management and execution. It also involves specialization in skills for developing a fashion brand and organising fashion shows.
Recipients
Students completing courses in Vocational Education and Training (IeFP) who wish to continue their educational path to acquire a higher level of technical competence within the professional profile and to obtain the authorisation to operate independently or as a technical manager of a company in the sector.
Duration
1year.
Title obtained
At the end of the course and upon passing a final examination, the Professional Diploma of Clothing and Home Textiles Technician - Specialisation: Fashion Design and Fashion Events will be issued, including a description of the acquired skills.
It is a recognised title throughout the national territory, and its correspondence with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) Level IV makes it recognisable in the broader context of the European Union.
FIFTH YEAR FOR ACCESS TO THE STATE EXAMINATION - A-LEVEL
Recipients
Subject to annual authorisation by the Lombardy Region. Full-time attendance.
Target Audience: Students completing four-year vocational education and training programmes (IeFP) who have obtained a diploma (Level IV EQF) relevant to the field and wish to continue their educational journey to achieve a higher level of technical competence within the professional profile and obtain an A-Level diploma.
Duration
1 year.
Title obtained
A-Level diploma (Level V EQF – European Qualification Framework).

Silv Fashion School periodically organizes an open day to allow interested individuals to closely evaluate the quality of the courses and teaching and to see the spaces where all our activities take place. Students and teachers will be ready to answer your questions and show you the classrooms and tools used for the organized design courses.

Fashion shows and fashion courses
The Silv Fashion School Association periodically organizes fashion shows to allow students to showcase their work and connect with personalities from the fashion industry, who are invited to these grand events.
The atmosphere in the school, located in Bergamo, especially during the fashion shows, is undeniably positive and filled with the typical glamour of major "défilé" events.
The constant commitment of the students and staff collaborating with Silv School is immediately visible in the organization of various types of courses: fashion design, figure drawing, modeling, styling, professional fashion and tailoring courses, clothing design, high fashion training, and tailoring. The educational offering is complemented by dedicated training courses, including schools for cutting and sewing, modeling, pattern making and garment construction, and fashion illustration.
